Mayan EDMS

Mayan EDMS is an open-source document management system that I've most recently deployed. The deployment is inside of a FreeBSD jail residing on CROWLEY.

It supports a vast number of features, most geared towards enterprise environments. I have recently digitized all of my paper records into Mayan EDMS and have full text search across all documents thanks to OCR scanning.

I haven't had a chance to play around with all of the settings, but some cool features I plan to implement are:

• Emailed documents (Mayan will have it's own mailbox on hermes).
• sFTP'd files (not sure if I want sFTP exposed to the public).
• Nextcloud dropped files (Nextcloud supports external locations, so maybe I can drop it in Mayan's watch directory).
