# Mayan EDMS
|

|
|
Mayan EDMS is an open-source document management system that I've most recently deployed.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
It supports a vast number of features, most geared towards enterprise environments. I have recently digitized all of my paper records into Mayan EDMS and have full text search across all documents thanks to OCR scanning.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
I haven't had a chance to play around with all of the settings, but some cool features I plan to implement are:
|
||
|
|
* Emailed documents (Mayan will have it's own mailbox on hermes).
|
||
|
|
* sFTP'd files (not sure if I want sFTP exposed to the public).
|
||
|
|
* Nextcloud dropped files (Nextcloud supports external locations, so maybe I can drop it in Mayan's watch directory).
